What is your thoughts on this… (I'm a Scorpio!)?
May 13, 2009 | Author: admin | Category: portland power bloggerIt's funny that even when we down on our luck and broke, the romantic love of someone can still make you feel like your rich and raise your self-esteem at the same time. I'll tell you a little secret, I secretly hate the concept of romantic love. I envy it and hate it at the same time and I wish our needs to have it could be supplemented for something else like a really good friendship or the love of a mother or something. One thing I hate about being in love is the fact that the other person has some sort of control over you whether it's noticeable or not. I HATE for someone to have control over me. I also hate the fact that it's almost never consistent. It's forever fleeting and changing. It's almost never equal. Someone is always loving someone more and therefore the one who loves more has the least amount of control or power. The funny thing about it is, while I hate the silly "thing" called love, I yearn for it as well. I want it and need it. I enjoy it so much that after I think I've lost it, I began to hate it again for leaving me and even coming to me in the first place. I hate a tease. And love is a tease, even when you're with someone for years the excitement and enjoyment of love fleets and leaves and your only stuck with sweet memories of romantic excitement and highs. What a tease!! Sorry if it's a bit deep and scary. But I'm a Scorpio and for us love is more like a challenge to conquer rather than a "good experience". Am I blogging??? Looks like it. Okay, I'm done. Sorry yall.

I am a Scorpio too. And love is just an experience. Anything can be as great and satisfying as love. There's nothing better than myself, there's nothing I enjoy more in the world than my relationship with myself. My family is mine, so are my loves, my career- they are just all add-ons. But I guess you can say that I have truly learned to love myself unconditionally. I am truly thankful for my life. No break up, fall, or failure will ever truly get me down. There's too much to celebrate. I love living. I love the feeling of falling in love, it doesnt intimidate me at all. I love over the top romance and I work it like a pro… live life to the fullest.

wow i totally agree with everything you said.
i also hate the idea of falling in love because that control you had is gone that is why i try not to fall in love EVER!!! i dont think i have yet but hey i am only 17 lol
but like you were saying i still desperately want it…its so weird

There's nothing better than myself, there's nothing I enjoy more in the world than my relationship with myself. My family is mine, so are my loves, my career- they are just all add-ons. My REAL thoughts on love:
It doesn't exist.
that's it, plain and simple. some people might think they're in love, they spend their whole life together, they get married, have a few kids. but when it comes down to it,,, they're not really in love. they may love each other, but they're not IN love with each other. it's a confusing concept that I'm afraid of. I don't trust anybody anymore. and i've never even had someone tell me they like me…. i could tell when someone liked me, but i ignored it. after seeing some of the things that happen in this world, I just wanna stay away from love as long as possible. i'm done holding onto things that don't exist.

im honestly kinda scared of commitment haha i think once you get hurt by someone you love or deeply care for it ruins other peoples chances of gaining your trust and love it gets harder and harder every time i know i've gotten my heart broken and ever since then i hate to say it but im quite the player im never with one guy haah but ehhh what can you do

omgg i freakin feel the same way. i want llove soo badly but im scared too gettin hurt nd in 2days society ppl r constantly breakin up…im so scared to trust ppl wit my love nd heart.. And i hate bein controlled too…grrrr…lol…love is funnn but can also be depressing ..very sad
